  • Help Restore Lakefield's Gateway Structures!

    Lakefield’s gateway structures, located at Queen Street and Stewart Drive, as well as Water Street and Block Road, have long served as a symbol welcoming visitors to our community. The masonry is deteriorating on both structures and one of the structures was severely damaged during the 2022 Derecho Windstorm.

  • Bluepoint Drive Road Closure

    Construction Notice:
    Bluepoint Drive will be closed just east of Harris Point Drive until October 22nd at 4:30 p.m. to facilitate Pumping Station Rehabilitation. Emergency services have been notified. Please use alternate routes.

    Wyoming, ON – At its Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 9th the Council of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming:

  • Annual Fire Hydrant Flushing

    The Fire Hydrant Flushing program will begin October 9, 2024 and will continue for several weeks throughout the Town.

  • Flu Shot Clinics - October 30th & November 6th

    Please be advised that two flu shot clinics have been scheduled at the Plympton-Wyoming Health & Wellness Centre (596 Broadway St, Wyoming). These clinics are being put on by the Central Lambton Family Health Team. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcome.

  • Camlachie Community Centre - Main Hall Naming

    Wednesday, October 3rd 2024                 NEWS RELEASE                        For Immediate Release

    Wyoming, ON – On October 1st, 2024 an event was held at the Camlachie Community Centre (CCC) in honour of the former long-time Mayor of Plympton-Wyoming, Lonny Napper. Lonny served several terms of Council as Mayor and retired in 2022. To commemorate Lonny’s passion for the CCC and his involvement with the space, the main hall will now formally be known as ‘Napper Hall’. The sign was unveiled during the event Monday evening.
