Community Safety

The Township of Plympton-Wyoming is committed to fostering a safe, healthy, and informed community. Explore the resources below to learn more about local and provincial safety initiatives.

People and organizations are working together to tackle family violence, mental health and addictions, and systemic discrimination.

Together, we'll make a difference.

We are proud to have worked with the County of Lambton and other member municipalities to develop Lambton County’s Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (2022-2025). Five areas of focus were identified and approved by the Advisory Committee: community safety, housing and homelessness, mental health and addictions, poverty and systemic racism. The determined priorities address the most pressing issues that Lambton’s residents identified as needing to be addressed first in our community.

The plan Focuses on community support to promote:

  • Equity
  • Inclusion
  • Health & Wellness
  • Fairness
  • Access to opportunity

Please visit the County of Lambton's website for additional information on Lambton County's Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (2022-2025).
