WYOMING PUBLIC CEMETERY NOTICE OF FILING OF A NEW BY-LAW
May 9th, 2024

By-law 34 of 2024 being a by-law to provide for the management and control of the Wyoming Public Cemetery and all inactive cemeteries in the Town of Plympton-Wyoming has been endorsed by Plympton-Wyoming Council and has been filed with the Registrar of the Funeral, Burial, and Cremation Services Act, 2002, for approval.

Please be advised that due to weather, the tree planting scheduled for May 11th at Wilpstra Park has been cancelled. Future dates will be communicated when available.

9:00 p.m. May 7th - crews finished the repair and are currently flushing the watermain. Residents are reminded to run their cold water for a couple minutes prior to use.

Please be advised that the Municipal Office will be CLOSED on Monday, May 20th 2024 for Victoria Day.

Wyoming, ON – At its Regular Council Meeting on Thursday, April 25th, the Council of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming:

Take Notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, May 27th, 2024, at 6:00p.m. at the Town Council Chambers to consider a Short-Term Rental Licensing By-law, being By-law 116 of 2023. Subsequently, proposed Official Plan & Zoning By-law Amendments under Sections 22 & 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, will also be considered.

Please see attached notices for the applications listed below, to be heard at the May 14th, 2024 Committee of Adjustment meeting.

Due to extenuating circumstances this evenings Regular Planning Council Meeting will be delayed.  Planning Public Meetings will go on as scheduled at 6 p.m. / 6:30 p.m. / 7 p.m. and then the delayed Regular Planning Council Meeting will take place approximately at 7:30 p.m.
