  • WATER MAIN BREAK - CONFEDERATION LINE

    3:30 p.m. June 19th - repairs have been completed to the broken water main. Crews are currently flushing the lines and full restoration is anticipated shorty. Once again we thank all for their patience and understanding during this unplanned incident.

  • Beach Etiquette

    Lake Huron boasts some of the most spectacular beaches and we're so fortunate to have several public beaches in Plympton-Wyoming! Below are some tips to help keep our beaches enjoyable for everyone:

  • Hold on Burn Permits - June 16-22, 2024

    Please be advised that due to the extreme temperatures forecasted this week the Town of Plympton-Wyoming will be putting a hold on issuing burn permits until June 22nd when the weather cools down. This is not a burn ban and does not restrict residential campfires.

  • Heat Warning Issued

    Hot and humid conditions are expected across Plympton-Wyoming in the coming week. Watch out for heat related impacts such as heat exhaustion and/or heat stroke. Remember to drink plenty of water and take breaks as needed.

    Wyoming, ON – At its Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, June 12th, the Council of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming:

  • Wanstead Road and Elevator Street - Construction Notice

    Wanstead Road from Confederation to the CN Tracks and Elevator Street from Wanstead Road to Leyton Street will be closed from June 17th to June 28th to complete pavement rehabilitation. Access for local traffic and emergency vehicles will be maintained.

    Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Depot Coming to Sarnia

    The County of Lambton Public Works Department and Clean Harbors Canada Inc. will be hosting a mobile Household Hazardous Waste collection event in Sarnia this weekend to offer an additional opportunity for Lambton County residents an opportunity to dispose of their household hazardous waste at no cost.
