Watershed Conditions Statement – Flood Outlook

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement – Flood Outlook.
  • Multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms likely to raise water levels
  • Forecasted 40 to 70 mm of rain between Tuesday and Thursday
  • Higher rainfall amounts possible during thunderstorm activity
The ground is already saturated and has low ability to soak up water. Runoff into local watercourses is expected with some overflowing into low-lying areas.
Individuals are reminded to avoid watercourses and flood areas due to dangerous conditions, slippery banks, and cold, swift-moving water. Children and pets should be kept away from the water.
This message will remain in effect until Monday, April 20, 2026, unless otherwise updated.
