ROAD RECONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Main St. & Thames St.

The Town is progressing into the next stages of the current road reconstruction project. The following updates are provided for residents and businesses:

Phase 1 – Main Street

Base paving operations are scheduled to begin next week as work continues toward completion of this phase.

Phase 2 – Thames Street

Construction on Thames Street will begin on Monday, June 8. Crews will mobilize to begin excavation and utility work. This phase is anticipated to be completed in August 2026.

Traffic and Access

• Construction zones will be closed to through traffic
• Access will be limited to local residents, businesses, and emergency services only
