Drop in between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to discover the rocks and minerals that shape our world. From the stones in our driveways to the materials in our phones, rocks and minerals are everywhere. Learn all about the amazing world of geology through hands-on activities and crafts:
Create your own pet rock
Press a salt dough fossil impression
Build a colourful geology core from plasticine
Take a closer look at rock and mineral specimens from the Museum's collection
Regular Museum admission applies.
The Lambton Heritage Museum is hosting Hoo Are You? Birds of Prey
Wild Ontario is returning to the Lambton Heritage Museum and will be bringing several ambassador birds including hawks and owls.
Drop-in at the Museum between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to meet these birds up close, chat with their handlers, and learn about Ontario's birds of prey.
