Important Reminder: Municipal and School Board Elections Are Included on Your Ballot

The Town of Plympton-Wyoming is reminding electors that the current ballot for the 2026 Election includes both the Municipal Election and the School Board Election.

The Municipality has received feedback indicating that some electors may believe the ballot is intended only for School Board Elections. To avoid confusion, residents are encouraged to review the voting process carefully before casting their ballot.

During both online voting and telephone voting:

  • The Municipal Election appears first on the ballot.
  • The School Board Election appears at the end of the ballot.
  • Selecting the option to decline voting at the beginning of the process will result in declining participation in both the Municipal and School Board Elections.

Electors are strongly encouraged to watch the Town's "How to Vote" video before voting. The video provides step-by-step instructions and explains how to navigate through the ballot successfully.

Need Assistance?

If you are unsure about any part of the voting process, do not proceed until you are comfortable.

Residents are encouraged to:

  • Stop the voting process before submitting their ballot
  • Contact the Town for assistance
  • Visit the Voter Assistance Centre at the Municipal Office

Town staff are available throughout the voting period to answer questions and assist electors.

The Town of Plympton-Wyoming wants every eligible voter to understand the process and cast their ballot with confidence.
