Burn Smart This Fall
As fall cleanup continues across the community, the Town of Plympton-Wyoming is reminding residents to burn responsibly and follow all applicable regulations.
When enjoying an outdoor fire, only clean, dry, untreated wood should be burned. Materials such as leaves, grass clippings, branches, household garbage, plastics, painted wood, treated wood, and other debris should never be placed in a fire.
Burning yard waste can create excessive smoke, increase the risk of fire spreading, and negatively impact neighbouring properties. Residents are encouraged to use approved yard waste collection and disposal options instead.
