2026 07 08 Regular Council Meeting Highlights

                                                                        Council Highlights
Wyoming, ON – At its Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, the Council of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming:

• Received a report regarding a short-term rental application for 3538 Queen Street and authorized staff to issue a Licence.
• Received a report regarding Hyde Street beach access stair replacement and approved a quote from Southwest Fence and Decks in the amount of $23,580 plus HST utilizing unused funds from the Highland Glen Boat Launch dredging budget.
• Received a report regarding Summary of Requests for Drain Maintenance between January 1st and June 30th, 2026.
• Received a report regarding requests for drainage apportionment due to land severance and approved the Apportionment of Drainage Assessment for the Braaksma Drain.
• Received a report regarding a petition for incorporating new storm sewers on Isabella Street and appointed M. Gerrits Consulting Inc. to produce a report.
• Passed Collection By-law 58 of 2026 for Maintenance, Repair and Improvement of Drainage Works within the Town of Plympton-Wyoming for the 2025 year.
• Held a Consideration meeting for the Anderson and Brand Drain Improvements (2026) and referred the report back to the engineer to reduce the scope of the Section 78 report.
