Warming Centres Closed & Special Thank You

The Town of Plympton-Wyoming is advising that the warming centres set up at the Camlachie Community Centre and Wyoming Fair Grounds are now closed.

The Town’s declaration of a Significant Weather Event will stay in place until normal snow removal operations can resume.

The Town would like to thank everyone for their cooperation and patience during this cold, snowy, and stressful day.

A special thank you goes out to Plympton-Wyoming Volunteer Firefighters, Plympton-Wyoming Public Works Staff, Plympton-Wyoming Agricultural Society, Huron Shores Optimist, Ontario Provincial Police, St. Clair Township Firefighters, Town of Petrolia Public Works and Wyoming Tree Service for all your assistance today.

Residents and travelers are reminded to please stay home and avoid unnecessary travel to keep everyone safe and give road crews and emergency services space to work.
