Plympton-Wyoming Operators Shine at 2025 AORS Provincial Safety Truck Roadeo

The Town of Plympton-Wyoming is proud to recognize Greg Atkinson and Ed Babcock for their outstanding performance at the 2025 AORS Provincial Safety Truck Roadeo, held on September 24, 2025, in Lanark County.

Hosted by the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors (AORS), the Roadeo brought together 49 of the most skilled municipal equipment operators from across Ontario. The event featured a series of challenging driving tests focused on safety, precision, and professionalism.

  • Greg Atkinson placed 6th overall, demonstrating exceptional skill and control.
  • Ed Babcock earned a commendable 23rd place, showcasing dedication and professionalism.

“Their achievements reflect the high standards and commitment of our team,” said the Town's CAO Adam Sobanski. “We are proud to have Greg and Ed represent Plympton-Wyoming in such a distinguished event.”
