Municipality has Declared a Significant Weather Event

Due to the forecasted and current weather conditions, the Town of Plympton-Wyoming has declared a significant weather event beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

A significant weather event is declared when it is anticipated that approaching or current weather hazards have the potential to pose significant danger to road users within the Town.

It is important to note that the declaration of a significant weather event is not necessarily a notice of a reduced level of service or a road closure. This declaration is to notify the public that due to the current or anticipated weather conditions, extreme caution is to be exercised when travelling on Town of Plympton-Wyoming roads. It will take longer than usual to clear roads and bring them back to normal conditions.
