Camlachie Community Centre Opens as a Warming Centre

Plympton-Wyoming, ON – The Town of Plympton-Wyoming is advising residents and motorists that the Camlachie Community Centre is open as a warming centre to support those who need a safe, warm place during the current weather conditions.

Visitors to the warming centre can expect a heated indoor space to warm up and rest.

If possible, please bring:

• Essential medications and medical supports
• Water and any required snacks/food (if applicable)
• Phone charger
• Identification and emergency contact information

The Town reminds residents that the extreme winter weather is make driving hazardous due to poor visibility, snow covered and icy roads, and congestion due to road closures. Residents are encouraged to avoid unnecessary travel and stay home!
