                                                                       Council Highlights

Wyoming, ON – At its Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026, the Council of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming:

• Received a report regarding Short Term Rental (STR) Application: 4187 Bluepoint Drive, deemed the property a Pre-Existing STR, and authorized staff to issue a licence accordingly.
• Received a report regarding Rural Ontario Development Program Grant Intake 3 Recommendation and supported an application to implement the identified actions listed as strategic priorities/pillars in the draft Economic Development Strategy.
• Received a report regarding 2026 Culvert Replacements - Tender Results, accepted the tender from GM Construction in the amount of $99,000 plus HST, and passed By-law 78 of 2026 to facilitate the agreement.
• Received a report regarding Confederation Line Phase 2 Surface Works - Tender Results, accepted the tender from Armstrong Paving and Materials Group Ltd. in the amount of $52,063.39 plus HST, and passed By-law 79 of 2026 to facilitate the agreement.
• Passed By-law 77 of 2026 to appoint members to the Joint Compliance Audit Committee.
• Passed By-law 74 of 2026 to facilitate an agreement.
