Council Highlights

Wyoming, ON – At its Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 9^th 2025 the Council of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming:

• Heard a delegation from Lambton Group OPP Detachment Board.
• Received a report regarding a proposed Huron Shores Optimist Community Project Update and application to Judith & Norman Alix Foundation for the Proposed Camlachie Recreation Facility.
• Received a report regarding Confederation Line Phase 2 Reconstruction Tender Results and the proposed tender from Clarke Construction Inc. was approved.
• Received a report regarding the inclusion of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming in the Huron Shores Area Transit System (HSATS).  Council supported an agreement in principle to contribute $41,500 over 5 years, through a formal agreement, towards the HSATS, confirmed they would allocate the Town’s share of the Provincial Gas Tax for Transit towards the HSATS, and designated the Town’s CAO as the project team representative.
• Passed a motion to have staff bring back further information regarding concerns addressed by Randy Dayman at the meeting.
