Council Highlights
Wyoming, ON – At its Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, August 14th, the Council of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming:
- Heard a delegation from Brenda Frezza regarding billings for the Defrieze-Delmage Drain.
- Received a report regarding the Maple Street Drain Tender, accepted the tender from Rade Construction for $37,858.39 including HST and passed by-law 102 of 2024 to facilitate the agreement.
- Received a report regarding a request for apportionment of drainage assessments and accepted the apportionment of drainage assessment due to severance of land for the Smith McKenna Drain and Chalmers Drain.
- Received a report regarding Pumping Station Rehabilitations - Various Locations, accepted the revised tender from Birnam Excavating Ltd. for $126,052.90 plus HST and passed by-law 103 of 2024.
- Passed Collection By-law 105 of 2024 for the Bird Drain initiated by the City of Sarnia and approved the cost of the work completed to be assessed to property owners according to the attached Schedule of Assessment which will be collected in the manner outlined within the By-law.
- Passed Collection By-law 106 of 2024 for maintenance, repair and improvement of drainage works initiated in the Township of Enniskillen and approved the cost of the work completed to be assessed to property owners according to the attached Schedule of Assessment which will be collected in the manner outlined within the By-law.
- Received correspondence from Marvin McGill regarding drainage concerns on Huron Street and directed staff to meet with Mr. McGill to further discuss the matter.
