The Town of Plympton-Wyoming is dedicated to preserving and showcasing our history and proudly works directly with the Plympton-Wyoming Historical Society (PWHS). The PWHS has worked hard to establish a museum at the Camlachie Cultural Library at 6745 Camlachie Road. For more information visit the Plympton-Wyoming Museum website. The museum is located in the lower level of the Camlachie Library and closes during the winter months to prepare for its new exhibits. The Plympton–Wyoming Historical Society is preparing an exhibition on Canada’s participation during the Battle of the Atlantic. We are seeking stories of residents who served with the RCN,RCNR, RCNVR, and Merchant Marine also stories re the building of the Fairmile Boats including the Q105 at Sarnia Bay . During our off season, visitors are welcome to visit the museum by appointment. Contact: Gordon MacKenzie 519-402-2357 or e-mail gordmackenzie5@gmail.com |
