Online Facility Bookings

The Town has several different facilities available for the public to rent/book through our online software:

  • Park Gazebos
  • Camlachie Community Centre
  • Volleyball Courts (during "prime time")
  • Swimming lessons 
  • Boat ramp pass (daily / seasonal)

 

Details regarding each booking type, instructions on how to use our online software, and answers to frequently asked questions can be found below.

 

Boat Ramp Passes (Seasonal or Daily)

Daily/Seasonal passes will be enforced to utilize the Highland Glen boat ramp. They are available for purchase at the municipal office (via cash, cheque, or debit) or through our online booking platform (via credit card). We will be offering daily launch passes ($15.00 per day) or seasonal launch passes ($200.00 for the year - unlimited launches). Hang-tags can be picked up at the Municipal Office and placed in the vehicle's front window for easy identification or a printout of the online booking receipt will be acceptable.

Advance booking of 'Day' passes fall under the "Rent a Facility" button (see how-to-guide below). 
Click the "Highland Glen Boat Launch" option. 

'Seasonal' passes fall under the "Boat Launch" button.
Day-of 'Day' passes are also under the "Boat Launch button.

Facility Bookings

Bookings can be done through our online software by clicking here or using the following link: https://townofplymptonwyoming.perfectmind.com

You will need to created an account first, then login. After you create an account a password will be emailed to you. You may change your password through your profile information after your account is created.

Once you have created an account, you will be redirected into the booking portal. Along the top, select 'Rent a Facility'. From here you can select which of our facilities you would like to rent.

Further instructions on each rental type will be broken down below.

Camlachie Community Centre

Once 'Camlachie Community Centre' has been selected as the facility, you will have the option to selected the boardroom or Napper Hall (the main hall).

Boardroom

The boardroom can fit approximately 20 people and is perfect for hosting meetings or small gatherings. Once you select the boardroom, you will be directed to a page that will ask you to indicate the number of attendees and allow you to select the date(s) and time(s) available for booking.

Once you request to reserve a date, you must confirm who is making the booking and accept the fees. You will then be directed to a page to either make a payment and 'Place Order', or you can 'Continue Shopping' if you wish to make multiple bookings. If you 'Continue Shopping' the booking will be stored in your cart, located in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Please note these fees are for an example booking and may not be an accurate representation of our current fees. 

 

After your 'Order is Place' you will received an email confirmation of the booking request as well as a draft contract, staff will need to confirm the request before the booking is finalized and the contract can be signed digitally.

Napper Hall (Main Hall)

Napper Hall has a capacity of 300 with tables and chairs or 350 with chairs only. Once you select the Napper Hall, you will be directed to a page that will ask you to indicate the booking activity, the number of attendees, and allow you to select the date(s) and time(s) available for booking.

 

Once you've indicated the above information you must confirm who is making the booking. You must then complete a questionnaire regarding your proposed booking:

Once the questionnaire is complete, you will be redirected to a facility rental agreement to review; a copy of this agreement will also be emailed to you. Please note, receipt of this agreement does not confirm your booking. Staff must receive and process the booking at this point; you will receive email confirmation once a booking has been approved and you can then sign the contract digitally and make payment. 

 

Court Rental

Outdoor beach volleyball courts are seasonally available to rent at Lakeshore Park, located at 3111 Egremont Road, Plympton-Wyoming. Courts are available to rent between the hours of 8:00am-8:00pm.

Once you've selected 'Court Rental' through our online booking software, you will be directed to the list of court facilities available to rent. Lakeshore Park is currently the only park we rent courts in. You will then be able to select the duration of time you wish to book the courts for, the number of attendees, and select your desired booking date. There is no cost to book a volleyball court.

Staff do not need to approve court rentals, once you book a court it is automatically approved. 

Park Rental

The Town of Plympton-Wyoming has many park facilities available for rental across the municipality.

  • Lakeshore Park gazebo (3111 Egremont Road Camlachie, ON N0N 1E0)
  • Lamrecton Park gazebo (3110 Egremont Road Camlachie, ON N0N 1E0)
  • McKay Park gazebo (665 Toronto Street Wyoming, ON N0N 1T0)

Once you select 'Park Rental' in our online booking portal you will be taken to a list of all park facilities available for rent. After you've chosen your desired facility you will be asked to enter the number of attendees and select your desired booking date. 

You must then complete a questionnaire regarding your proposed booking. Please note, alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited and smoking/vaping are prohibited in all municipal facilities and in parks within 20m of a public facility. Camping is prohibited in all Town owned parks; check out local campgrounds for overnight opportunities.

**Please note that registration is REQUIRED for: group lessons, private/semi-private lessons, swim team, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross. Registration is NOT required for Aquafit.

Our new registration platform is similar to those used by other Municipalities. It requires that everyone wanting to register for our programs create an account with all necessary parent/guardian and child information. 

**SEASON PASSES: If you are interested in purchasing a season pass for open swim or aquafit/laneswim (fitness pass) please stop by the pool Monday - Friday between 8:30 and 4:30. We accept debit, cash and check payments.

Step 3 - Registration

Registration is live for the 2023 pool season. Click HERE and login to your account, or create an account to proceed with registration. (It might take a minute to redirect you, please wait for the page to load).

The spots you select in courses will be held for 5 minutes to allow you to select all of your desired courses and complete your payment. Payment is required at the time of registration, so please have your credit card ready before beginning the registration process.

 Who is responsible for set-up of an event?

 Camlachie Community Centre

As per the rental contract, rentals of the CCC include the use of tables and chairs. It is the Lessee's responsibility to set up any tables and chairs that are needed for the booking. Any decorating is the responsibility of the Lessee, but no decorations are to be pinned or taped to the walls or ceiling of Napper Hall. As well, no confetti or open candles of any kind are permitted. Confetti includes metal table sprinkles.

Park Facilities

Each gazebo houses picnic tables available for use with the rental. Renters are allowed to post or display any materials in the gazebo, so long as it is appropriate and not offensive. 

 Who is responsible for clean-up following a rental?
 

Camlachie Community Centre

As per the rental contract, the Lessee is responsible for doing the following clean-up:

  • Chairs must be stacked
  • Tables must be washed off at the end of the evening
  • The hall is left in an orderly manner with food waste collected in plastic garbage bags, we supply, and placed in the dumpster

All clean up must be done BEFORE 10am the following day.

Park Facilities

Please do your part to help keep our parks and facilities clean and garbage free for everyone to enjoy. We ask that following a rental all garbage, waste, and recycling be placed in the appropriate areas, otherwise a cleaning fee may be charged.

 I've rented the Camlachie Community Centre, how do I get a key?
 Keys are available for pick-up and drop-off at the Town of Plympton-Wyoming Municipal Office during regular business hours. Our office is located at 546 Niagara Street Wyoming, ON N0N 1T0 and we are open 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m. Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Keys can be picked-up the business day before your booking and they must be returned the next business day following your booking (i.e. if the CCC is booked for a Saturday gathering the key can be picked up on Friday and must be dropped off on Monday at the latest). 

The key does not need to be dropped off during business hours, they can be left in the secure after-hours drop-box located by the front door of the Municipal Office. 

 What is the Town's policy on cancellations?
 When renting the Camlachie Community Centre there is a 50% cancellation fee for bookings canceled 60 days prior to the scheduled event.
Is there an age limit on bookings?
All bookings must be completed by someone who is of the age of majority (18 or older). Youth groups putting on functions at the hall when alcoholic beverages are being served must have "AGE OF MAJORITY CARD FOR ADMITTANCE" printed on their tickets. This group will be limited to 300 people. Hall management will enforce this rule at the door.
How do I pay for an online booking?

Sign into your account and click the “My Info” button along the top bar. Next, select "Invoices".

This will take you to a new screen where it will list balance due. There is a button called “Make Payment”

that should then asks you to enter payment information.
