Public Works & Engineering
David Fielding, P. Eng, Director of Public Works & Engineering, is employed by the Town of Plympton-Wyoming to oversee the duties and responsibilities as required by the Town to provide engineering expertise to the Town on a broad spectrum of municipal projects including transportation, sewer, water and recreation projects.
As Director of Public Works, David is also responsible for general operations and advising for constructing, operating and maintaining the Town’s infrastructure, including the municipal road system, water distribution network, sanitary and storm sewers and municipal drains.
Public Works is responsible for the following services:
- Roads, including snow removal and street painting
- Storm water system
- Sanitary sewer system
- Street signs and traffic signals
- Equipment maintenance
- Town beautification
- Roadside debris and litter pick-up
- Water distribution system
