Cemetery Services

The Wyoming Public Cemetery is the an active Cemetery operated by the Town of Plympton-Wyoming. This Cemetery was established in the early 1800’s to serve the needs of the local residents and is located at the West end of Isabella Street. The Cemetery Board Members are appointed by Council to oversee its' operations and development, and to ensure that it continues to service the general needs of the local residents.
 
The Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations sets out the regulations for the operation of the Cemeteries under the Cemeteries Act (Revised) R.S.O. 1990 CHAPTER C4.
 
There are also 11 inactive Cemeteries within the boundaries of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming that have been abandoned, and as a result of the Ministry Regulations, have become the responsibility of the Town to maintain in a respectful manner, for the care and maintenance to be provided.
