    Recycle & Waste Collection

    Recycle, Waste and Compost pickup for the Town of Plympton-Wyoming is contracted through Marcotte Disposal Company from Sarnia, Ontario.

    The Municipality is divided int two different scheduled pick up areas, one being the former Plympton Township area and the other being the former Village of Wyoming Area.  Pick up days may vary within the two schedules/areas but the  recycle and waste items eligible to be picked up are the same.  

    The Compost pick up is only available in the former Village of Wyoming area and only for fall compost picked up October and November.

    Blue Totes or Bluebox - CANS & PLASTICS
    • #1 or #2 plastics only
    • Jugs are also a #1 or #2
    • Yogurt containers & plastic bags
    • Blueboxes can be used on the tote week for CANS & PLASTIC BOTTLES ONLY!!!!
    Bluebox - NEWSPAPER & GLASS
    • Cardboard tied & bundled 2' X 2' X 18" (placed beside bluebox)
    • Newspaper & glass (glass to be separated from newspaper / please place glass in plastic bag or in bin)
    • NO pizza boxes
    • NO shiny magazines or flyers

    Items must be placed at the roadside before 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled day for pick up day.  New pick up schedules are supplied and mailed out to residents every year and are available below or may be picked up at the Municipal Office.  If you have any questions or problems with a pick up please call the Municipal Office at 519-845-3939 or 1-877-3133939 or you may call Marcotte Disposal Company at 519-339-9988.
